I can say that I'm not disappointed with the final result. This set contains 5 figures, 3 of which are new to the Lego minifig universe.
Oh, and before I take an in-depth look at the figures I must say it is nice to get a fairly rare tan or medium flesh skin colour. This set helps diversify the protagonist minifigures a bit. Kordi is the female of the set. She has dark green legs, (which I must say, doesn't appear that often in the lego universe) with some metallic printing and what looks like a harness. The hips contain printing which extends a pouch and a bit of the harness and are too in the dark green colour. The torso contains lots of detail, for starters the colour for the torso is a light brownish colour. An underlaying shirt can be seen as the jacket is not done all the way up.
There is a bandolier running along the front and back of the torso and contains some metallic printing in different places. The belt also contains metallic printing and overall looks pretty nice. A pouch is also present along with the freemaker adventure logo which looks nice in the dark red colour which it is in. The backside of the torso contains other details such as seams and overall looks better than a plain torso. The head gives off an expression that looks positive, but I wouldn't necessarily say happy, I think maybe Kordi is reflecting upon something, as it could possibly be her resting face, but overall looks a bit bland. There is no alternative face print which goes for Zander as well. The hairpiece is a dark brown colour and I believe we have seen this before. Overall Kordi is a nicely detailed fig, just wish there was a second face. Zander has somewhat medium blue legs, it's not quite the colour of baby blue and it's not the normal blue colour, none the less the colour goes with the torso. Yet again metallic printing is present of the legs, a pouch and harness can also be seen. The hip region extends the pouch and harness and too contains metallic printing.
The torso is the same colour as Kordi's however the jacket style is a bit different, The jacket is not done up so Zander's shirt can be easily seen which is a washed out white colour. A metallic belt runs along the front and back and yet again contains a pouch. The freemaker logo is also on the jacket like Kordi's , however this time it has some tan printing and the outline of the triangle is in black. The face gives off a happy vibe, more cheerful than Kordi. Like I previously said no alternative face.
The hairpiece is also a nice new piece, not sure if it appeared elsewhere in other sets. It's in the same colour as Kordi's so dark brown, it really shows the different layers of interlocking hair. Quarrie is a short Mon Calamari, the same species as Ackbar.
From what I have learnt Quarrie invented the B-wing and debuted in Star Wars Rebels, so it's nice to get him officially in Lego form. He has short tan legs with no printing on them. The torso contains printing which some of it is covered up by his beard.Taking the head off reveals a maintenance type shirt which in some places is a bit dirty. His name is printed in aurebesh, this detail is covered up though by the head. Two pockets are present on both sides of the shirt.
Below that is a large belt with a dark grey pouch. The belt continues around the back. Stains are also present on the back as well. The head is really well sculpted, being dual moulded allows for Quarrie's hat to fit around his head. His facial detail is a big step up from Ackbar, his nostrils are quite viably seen. His eyes stick out sideways of his head, the eyes are printed with gold, black and white, which really make the face stick out. His mouth is present, however, is covered up by his light brownish beard. Overall Quarrie is a stellar figure. RO-GR is the same one in the previous freemaker set.
He is basically a battle droid put together with different parts of different colours. The different colours make RO-GR stand out from the numerous other battle droids released over the years. He also contains a 1x1 tan tile on the back. The last figure is the new storm trooper style. He is the only bad guy of the set and feels a bit weird as to why he's in the set. However none the less you can never get enough of the original storm troopers. He contains leg printing, which each leg showing a different design. The torso print contains a belt and the chestplate. These parts continue around the back. The helmet is really nice and is the same one which we have seen for the past couple of years now since the original helmet print has been retired. The only drawback from the figure is the angry clone face. I really don't know why Lego continue to use this print over a simple black head. The set contains a little yellow repair and vehicle. It has 4 clips on it. 2 of which are intended to hold light blue spring shooters projectiles. The other 2 slots are for a buzzsaw and Quarrie's wrench. It's able to glide along a flat surface due to the having 3 transparent anti studs on the bottom. One downside to this small build is that it doesn't contain a piece which would be able to fasten down a figure when it's being driven. It contains no printed panel or levers so you have to use your imagination. Overall the set includes 6 minifigure accessories. 1 wrench, 1 buzzsaw, 1 medium black blaster, 1 pistol with extended barrel and two different brick built grappling guns (one of them to me looks a bit bulky).
So a nice selection of handheld items. The colouring is mostly light grey, dark grey with dark red and hints of black. The set only contains 6 stickers and they weren't that much of a hassle to put on. The arrowhead is a nice build. It is situated on an axel which can be rotated 180 degrees via a technic piece on the side, which isn't an eyesore. This enables the head to be swapped to what I imagine is a set of cannons. The head is stored away within the open area, there is no way that it will fall out due to all the secure technic bricks used. The cockpit windscreen is a nice large printed piece exclusive to this set. It has a bit of dark tan printing, dark grey and light grey. There are some viewing ports which is made up of the clear plastic. The screen is connected to the other half of the cockpit, so the top comes off in one large piece, which is really handy. The inside doesn't look as glamorous as the outside. The cockpit is pretty plain in my opinion, only containing a lever and back of a seat. One thing which is good about it though is that it is easy to place a figure in and out of it. The crew quarters contains 3 possible areas to position a figure including RO-GR. There is nothing special here, there isn't any room to store the grappling hooks. Moving on from the crew quarters is the crystal compartment.
Two large blue capsules go around the 5 crystal pieces in what I would imagine is supposed to be one large kyber crystal which powers the engines. The engine compartment at the back is detailed enough to actually look like an engine. It has 4 mini engines and one large one, all of which have a trans blue 2x2 dish to simulate them being on.
By the side of the crystal compartment is a set of cannons which are made up of technic pieces. These can be rotated 90 degrees one way. This is where the spring-loaded shooters are hidden.
They are hidden well, however, the end of the shooter protrudes a bit. Its shape reminds me of the original lego space ships, similar to Benny's spaceship. The build was quite straightforward. There weren't any difficult parts, apart from placing studs in deep areas of the crew quarters.
It took me around about 40 minutes to complete. The stickers in this set weren't that difficult to put on since the pieces were quite large so there was plenty of room. Our stock all ships from our US-based warehouses. We stand behind our products.
